  1. I loaded the app on my Samsung galaxy note 3 phone and it does not recolonize my Canon Mark II camera please help

    • From what I’ve read, Sony’s alpha line doesn’t quite support the standard protocol, so they’re a bit tricky to work with. Between that and not having one on my desk to test with means it isn’t likely to happen in the near future.

  2. Hi,
This software looks like exactly what I’m after. Is it compatible with the EOS 1200D camera, HTC One M8 Android phone and Canon Selphy C910 printer?

I have a ‘re-purposed’ TP-Link mobile router that gives my 1200D a Wi-Fi connection, does this app have to run via otg cable?

Sorry for so many questions but I’m hoping to use that setup at my wedding in May so any help/ advice greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    • The 1200D is the Rebel T5 in North America right? That should work just fine, but it does need to be over a OTG connection – the app doesn’t have wifi support. The CP910 works as a printer, and your HTC should be fine as long as it has USB host support. Download the free version and test it with your gear to be sure.

      • Thanks for the reply Greg. Yeah, 1200d = t5 & I’ve got an otg cable. The reason I ask was I’d rather use a tablet due to its size but I’ve only got a Samsung Tab 4, not the LTE version tho, so no otg support. I’ve picked up another cheap tab just for this so fingers crossed I’m all good.

    • I haven’t personally tried it with a D60, but it looks like it may have the hardware required. Try it out with the free version and let me know how it goes!

  3. Well, I really love the app. Just realized it won’t work with the Nikon D3100. Planning on upgrading this Christmas, but was wondering in the mean time if you knew of anything that would work with a D3100? Thanks again for your commitment to this program!

    • I think the D3100 lacks the hardware to do tethered live view – don’t know of any software that can get around this. Might be able to do the countdown and trigger the shutter, just no preview. Try it out with the free version!

  4. Hi,

I got Problems with my Nikon D3200. I can’t use the app in the M mode of the cam. Automatic mode will be no problem.

    Best regards

  5. Danke für die schnelle Antwort. Ich hatte da noch einen Frage, Welche der beiden Kameras funktioniert besser mit SLR Booth die 20D oder 1000D?

    Vielen Danke
    Florian
